Denny's Country Fried Steak
1 lb beef cube steak, cut into 4 pieces
1 cup flour
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Tenderize the meat by pounding it with a mallet or the bottom of a heavy skillet.
Stir together the flour and spices in a shallow dish.
Put the buttermilk in a separate dish.
Dredge steaks in the flour mixture, dip into the buttermilk and dip again into the flour mixture.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat.
